Rotational Picspam - Regalton part 2

Onto part 2 of the picspam from the main hood. As you can see I've redone my tags too. Hopefully this will make it easy for people to find picspam of the families they want to see.

We'll start with the Long household. I changed their name when I put them in the new hood, but this was the Wong family. I decided that Long suited Shane better. Also, when I worked out the ages for the new hood, I realised that Abigail and Shane would still be adults with my new mod, so I aged them down again.
The rotation started with Basil and Abigail playing catch in the front garden wearing their night things. Yes they do have a back garden, and it's much bigger than this, but this is where they decided to play,

With the rebuild, I'm having to get some friendships back on track, so I invited Alexandra round to get them back to besties.

So they decided to go and play in the front garden again. (Please note that they were standing in the kitchen beforehand, which is far nearer to the back garden than the front garden).

This is Besse, one of my bohemians. I'm really pleased with her look.

Basil isn't very keen on her though.

When I was deciding who to bring over to the new hood, I had to decide whether to bring over Basil or his sister Amelia. In the end I went with Basil, because he and Azula have three bolts. I did briefly think about importing Dom for her, but I'm trying to keep my population down, at least to start of with, and the fact that she could marry into the family, albeit a distant branch appealed.

(Yes, they are playing catch inside. i guess that's what I get for placing the phone inside and out of sight.
Basil was sitting studying before Abigail came in tot he room to write in her diary. Oh sims I love how little sense you make at times.

I got rid of one file from the car pool defaults a little while ago, since it interferes with the headmaster visit, but I'm wondering about putting it back in so that I don't get anachronistic cars on the lots when someone gets home. At least the walk by looks authentically Victorian.

On to Timothy's house and the floating trees visible from his lot. I did end up moving most of these so that they didn't float so much.

This is Ellen, a completely unplanned baby, but she is rather sweet. It's just a shame that the house isn't bigger. :?

Peggy is now a teen and I remembered to put glasses on her for the new hood, woo!

I laughed when the welcome wagon turned out to be made up of simselves. :D

Another townie, and another bohemian. I'm really loving seeing them turn up on lots.

Timothy and Peggy decided to play whap in the garden.

Peggy can be kinda scary if I tell the truth.

Not entirely sure what happened here, but I'm guessing like with Eddie and Celly, De went in with an admire or hug and Peggy didn't like it. Timothy also had a negative relationship with De though, so maybe she tried to admire him and Peggy didn't like it because she's not her mum? I don't know.
Marina found it funny though.

Lauri and Ellen spam.

Peggy looks a lot like Timothy, but I think Ellen looks a lot like Lauri.
As you can see, Zane is trying his best to get along with Peggy.

Dressing sims in more appropriate and better gym gear is good. Until they jog past the house, then it's just funny.

I don't seem to have many pictures from Richard's house. All I do have show that Aiden doesn't seem to like Richard's brother-in-law.

But he did manage to fall in love with Richard while Corbin personperonminusminused him.

So. This is where the pictures from the Hutchins and Newson lots should be, only I have none in my storytelling folder. I'm sure I took some, and since I played these the same session as Richard's lot, it makes me wonder if there was some glitch and the camera didn't work.

Where do I start with this? It's a fantastically fun household to play anyway, aaaaaaaand I also got to meet the very first member of genration six, which was very exciting.
For most of this, I'm just going to dump the contents of my story telling folder.
19 outgoing points and three bolts leads to lots and lots of stalking.

"Haha, you are so funny. Of course I am not stalking my wife. The thought never crossed my mind."

Not the best subject to be talking about with your pregnant wife Ezra.

Speaking of pregnancy.

These really are so much fun to watch.
Bethany turned out not to be a very good pregnant sim at all. This is straight after the pictures above, since I had to have her eat another omelette, because her hunger bar was still only half full.

First bump, and she looks so happy about it.

And of course, yes she was stalking Ezra. He's not emplyed yet while I wait for the job I want for him to come up (law).

Better look at the improved baby bump on the mesh.

Stalking also extend to hobby leaders apparently. (Ezra's cookign because Bethany was napping. Like I say, she was not a very good pregnant sim).

Second baby bump on my improved mesh.

And more stalking.

Bethany was admiring the portraits of Ezra's family members in the dining room when she went into labour.

Welcome to the neighbourhood Austin. Poor Bethany doesn't look very happy, but I think she's just exhausted.

Ezra is a pleased as punch.

I sent poor Bethany to nap for a bit, but umm, that doesn't look too comfortable.

I tried to get a nice cuddling picture to finish the rotation with, but pressed pause at the wrong time. Oh well.

A brand new household now, Andrew's. And the first order of business after fixing Andrew's clothes, was to move Marina in.

Marina then went and headed for the music room, meaning I had to wait a bit to get on with the second order of business.

"My creator is an idiot and forgot to have me ask this when she was setting up, but will you marry me?"

"Oh my gosh, there's nothing in the box since Di installed the invisible ring default, but of course I will!"

My new improved pregnancy morphs look great on slim sims, but for some reason, there's a line on larger sims. Not sure I can fix this. :/

Andrew's wedding was a a bit of a shambles to tell the truth. First off, the guests would rather talk to each other than head for the arch.

This included Doc and Rosie who was being very inappropriate and heartfarting Bertie.

As you can see, the wedding started with guests still milling around.

Neither Andrew nor Marina seemed to mind though.

Some of the guests looked a tad bored, and I can't help but think that Doc is leaning forward making sure her son wasn't going to run or anything.

Yeah, I really must remember not to put the benches so close to each other in future.
Peter and Bertie fed their wives nicely. Andrew, not so much. He was the first cake shover.

Some of the guests then managed to get stuck between the chairs (Celly wasn't the only one to do this).

I really like this next picture of Marina's simself, so much so I'm thinking of changing her official portrait to it.

These two became the first couple of Regalton 3.0 not to get pregnant first time, but I can say that Marina is now expecting twins.

And doesn't Andrew look pleased with himself over that fact?

That's all the picspam I have for now. I need to actually play before I can share any more.
I've finished my first edit of the next chapter, but I need to read through it and make any more edits before I can start shooting, but I don't think it'll be long before then.

Date: 2012-07-11 01:03 pm (UTC)Yeah I've not played properly for nearly a year and I'm out of practice with holding weddings. At least I can stage them for the chapter.
