Thanks. Yes, I think it's sometimes forgotten what Stuart's view of his childhood is. It's something I've talked about with Marina, but not many others, and the key thing is, he has no lasting memories of Marielle. However, that doesn't mean he wasn't aware of some of what was going on, just that as a young child, he couldn't understand it. It's all very important for understanding how he is just as damaged as Bertie, if not more so, because his damage runs deep and isn't as obvious as Bertie's.
