Sortin'

Well, since I'm not out tonight, I thought I'd sit down and finish reordering my snapshots in my little folders following the other day's mini disaster.  I'm so happy that I've finally finished it, I can now start writing when the inspiration sparks.  I'm aiming to start writing this weekend once I've finished the current rotation in the main house, and since it's a bank holiday I should find the time to make a good start.

I also want to start sorting pictures for my next interlude if I can, but I need to play one particular house before I can get that done *tries to be slightly mysterious.*

Well to celebrate I thought I'd share some more pictures of my simmies smustling.  There's no Anne this time, but this little gathering was Alfred's wedding.

It wasn't the most successful wedding to begin with what with me forgetting to sort out a decent frock for Evie, Charles turning up late and William, Charlotta and George facing the sides when applauding.

Once inside for the reception though things started to take off. By the way Alfred is a feeder not a shover when it comes to the cake, yay.
With Beth at the piano, Alfred and Marielle start to get everyone dancing in their  tiny, tiny music room.  I download houses because I can't always be bothered to build them myself, but most of the times I find things I really don't like about them, and end up modifying them.

Yes this is a completely crap picture, but as you can see they were successful in getting everyone onto their feet.

However it's this three who stole the show.  Looking at these pics I love how much like George William looks, and that is Harold (George's nephew) in the front, not Arthur.  The only thing he has inherited from Elizabeth is the Legacy brow.

I love smustle faces, they always cheer me up.

Well anyway, now I've finished sorting, I am going to reward myself by playing the main family for a bit. :)

Edit: just wanted to share that the Toybox is now at level 10, the final star coming from Denise Jacquet, woot.  I'm going to start planning the fourth business now, and try to get William some crafting bench badges.

Edit 2: William has finally got a gold flower arranging badge, hoo-bloody-ray!  I am very happy about this.

Di, why you always gotta give me the earworm?

GIMME FUEL GIMME FIRE GIMME THAT WHICH I DESIRE

Great Smustle pics, though! And congrats on the third level 10!

Can't wait for the interlude. Sounds intriguing...

Opps sorry Doc, if it's any consolation I can't get it out of my head now either.:)

I've started to get excited about the interludes again, so I'm looking forward to getting to work on it.

I had a problem with my folders reorganizing themselves too. Try right-clicking when you're in the folder and go to Arrange Icons By... and de-select Auto Arrange.

That seemed to solve it for me, or at least that particular folder hasn't rearranged itself since I did that.

I do do that Doc, but the folder still rearranged itself this time. Thing is it didn't rearrange thins by name or date modified, things were just ... all over the place.

Oh well, I've nearly finished writing the first part of the chapter so I can soon dump them all back into the storytelling folder and upload it.
