Rebuild update

I wanted to post this on Friday, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I was without internet most of Thursday and all of Friday.  It came back on yesterday, but I spent my internet time catching up with various things.  Anyway, I've been making very good progress with the rebuild the past two weeks.

Rebuild to do list:

Sims:

• Transfer all my sims stats to Excel
• Transfer all simselves stats to Excel
• Sort which imports will make the move to Regalton 3.0
• Transfer import stats to Excel
• Re-extract and clone my sims in bodyshop
• Re-extract and clone simselves in bodyshop
• Re-extract and clone imports in bodyshop.
• Make new townies in bodyshop (86/140 done)
• Make note of final skills and interests for all important sims.  (IE main house, the Smiths, the Harrisons, Vicky)

Hood:

• Place new neighbourhood deco in Simdon
• Rescale existing deco again, to look more in scale with the new deco.
• Decide on terrain to use for Simford.
• Place the Simford lots which are complete.
• Use utility to transfer all neighbourhood deco to Dummy Regalton 3.0.
• Package up all lots and then repackage as clean lots.
• Package and place Greek houses.
• Place all those clean lots in Dummy Regalton 3.0.

  3. Simdon resi
  4. Simdon comm
  5. The Nickle
  6. Simmouth
  7. Takemizu
  8. Simford  All finished lots placed.

Building:

• Finish makeover of 1 King's Square.
• Furnish and landscape Andrew's house
• Furnish and landscape Celly's house – not needed for a few rotations.  Can wait.
• Finish building, decorate, furnish and landscape Lauren's house.
• Build lots around Cathedral in Simdon.  Could possibly use the new neighbourhood deco here too.
• Finish furnishing Sartor Hall.  Can wait.
• Build Joe's new house.
• Finish a couple of lots in Simdon – big plotty lot
• Build community lot needed for chap 24.4
• Build community lot needed for chap 25
• Build facade lot next to lot that will be used in chap 25.

CC to make or covet:

• Finish the remaining two townhouses as neighbourhood deco
• Policeman's uniform. 
• Fireman's uniform if possible. 
• Pooklet the base game top hat.
• Fix meshes that flash blue:
  1. Gloves
  2. Bonnets
  3. Glasses
• Fuzzy's hair.
• Recolours of portraits for Main house.  Dargent House II
• High top bowler
• Watson’s hat
• John Bull topper
• Proper boater
• Womens’ riding topper
• Pooklet the fedora
• Pooklet aligeth’s Victoria braided bun if it looks ok * big ? over this since it's earlier than my game. Not doing
• Take another look at the celebration updo and see if I think what I had started looks ok.  If ok, finish it.  Made new mesh and done

As you can see from my list, all the cc I want finished for it, apart from picture recolours, is done.  I do want to make some outfits for my Highland locals, as well as a set of clothing for Sarah Jane when she becomes a YA, but that can wait a little bit, until I'm ready.

I've also not felt like building, so I've got the house done I wanted to, but not the big lots I need for the story.  Instead, what I've felt like making is sims, so I've been busy with that.  I've been using a varierty of face templates as well as the standard Maxis ones, and I'm liking the variety I'm getting.  Hiopefully, they'll all look lovely in game too, and I'll have my base set of townies for the rest of the legacy.

All of this progress means that I'm also getting to the point where I can play again.  Since I've not really played since August last year, I'm really looking forward to it. 

I've also been doing  a lot of thinking about ages, but I might make another post about my musings later.
