I just don't know how women can ride side saddle. It looks so precarious, and even though from what I've read, the rider can actually get a very firm grip on the pommels of the saddle, I still think the riders are going to slip off. Also, there's the fact they only hold the reins with one hand. All in all, I find this achievement amazing:

It really is. But you just know that when she moves to the country and it's suggested that she learns to ride to fit in with society and the Hunt, she'll march out there to that horse, stare it down and make it bend to her will.
