Since LJ was being full of fail, and I didn't feel like starting to write straight away, I decided to do a bit of playing.  It's going to be a while until this shows in story, (and I'll probably do a more in depth picspam once I've played a couple more houses), but I'm so excited about it, I want to share. 

They're married!  My generation 5 heir is FINALLY married.  He's only been in my game over three and a half years.

I cannot tell you how excited I am about this.  Yes, I probably should not have scanned right away since it's the main house, but I play with no sound effects, so don't hear a lullaby, aaaaand I was desperate to see if Sophia was pregnant. 

Have I mentioned that it's nearly four years since I started a new generation in the main house?

Of course, now I have to wait a rotation to see what she has, but BAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBIIIIIIIIIIIIESSSSSSSSS.

Quick progress report on the chapter while I'm here.  At the moment, the plan is to split the remainder of chapter 24 into two parts.  those parts might get split down again, depending on how long they look to be, but those parts will still be posted together. 

As far as the first part goes, it covers 3 story lines, and so far, I've got one written, the second started and I'm about to start on the third, so I'm about halfway through writing it.  Not length wise, but story line wise.  I'm hoping to get the first part finished and posted within a month, but we'll see.
