Loved this! The detail about the tie was spot on. He really would find it choking but he would endure anything to get that fleeting smile from Emmi. Loved that he almost forgot protocol and tried to call her by her first name.
I think I adore Peggy as well. Sounds like she is just the friend that Emmi needs.
