dicreasy2Hello everyone. I've still not started with writing the remainder of the next chapter yet, even though it's now cooled down, because I've been in a creating/fixing/organising mood instead. Here is a list of the on-going projects (some of which I started three years ago), which I've been looking at recently.
Project Mesh:
What is it?
Sorting/fixing/making the clothing meshes I have up to my standards and making sure they fit the era.
Status?
On hold for the time being whilst I re-organise my clothing folder and get back into the mood for clothes meshing.
Project Refit:
What is it?
Refitting textures onto appropriate meshes for my game and the ages of the sims.
Status?
Backlog done. Just need to check any new downloads and refit as necessary.
Project Sarah Jane is a bony mare.
What is it?
Project to create clothing meshes which fit with my mental image of Sarah Jane as a very thin character, with a body shape completely unlike that of any of my other sims. I will not be doing this for many others unless my mental image of their body shape is as strong as it is for Sarah Jane.
Status?
Naked, bustle, corset, swimming, nightgown, coat meshes all done. Gym left.
Project Seasons.
What is it?
Project to make all of the outdoor plants in my game change somewhat accurately with the season, as well as re-categorising the plants into categories which make sense.
Status?
Been working a lot on this this week. Tree catalogue is done, done, done and looks fabulous. Working on the flowers catalogue now, but kinda half-arseing the winter, spring and autumn meshes for time. I've decided that I can always go back and remake meshes as I feel like it and that I'd rather use plants I've got but don't use because they don't bloom in the correct season than fabulous meshes for the rest of the year. Also need to look at the shrub category.
Project skin:
What is it?
Default skintones for the game.
Status?
All base tones done ages ago. Vampire, alien and zombie also done.Working on werewolf at the moment. Werewolves now done. Still have no ideas for plantsim. Witches: not going to do unless someone begs and has an idea as to what they want, since I use a no overlay hack. Genie: not sure what to do or if it's worthwhile doing. Need to think about it some more.
