Progress report....
Oct. 30th, 2008 09:00 pm...because I feel like rambling a bit.
Well I have started work on the next chapter, and yes it is a two parter again. I have a short list of 126 pictures for the first part and 135 for the second, so this is definitely going to be a big chapter. I'm pretty stoked about writing this chapter actually, and I think I'm going to take my time in order to do it justice. It is very Alexandra heavy, but the boys will be making appearances too.
Play-wise, I've been playing both Eddie and Marielle, and Theo and Doc's honeymoons. Both Marielle and Doc are pregnant (Doc with twins) so I'm having fun there. I am loving playing Simmouth: it looks good and plays well.
I'm also thinking about un-installing ACR. Don't get me wrong, I do like a lot of the features, and Stanley is so much fun to play with it in, but just lately it's annoying me.
It very nearly caused me to break the strict family values handicap for example. I've always had Eddie set to static no autonomy, and I did the same to Marielle when I moved her in. Taking them to Simmouth must have reset their tokens somehow because I took my eyes off the screen for a moment and when I looked back they were going at it on a couch. Thankfully it was a try for a baby, otherwise, yeah that would have been the handicap gone.
Also I thought SimNerd and Theo were stalky before I gave them ACR autonomy, with it, jeebus they do not leave each other alone. It is one ACR interaction after another, unless I tell them both to do something else. That's starting to get to me too because they are starting to have no pesonality, and I don't like that.
Then there's the whole Carmen/Stanley incident which I've managed to resolve through having them argue, but that could have come back to bite me later. *sigh*
So anyway, I'm thinking about taking it out and playing without it for a while, just to see.
