CreMo Progress Report - Day 4
Feb. 4th, 2011 05:05 pmI'm not finished CreMo-ing for the day, but I am taking a short break at the moment, and since I didn't update my stats yesterday or Wednesday, I thought I'd do this now.
Goal:
Write chapter 24.2, ideally get it shot and published too, but we'll see how it goes.
Progress:
Outline: First outline done, subject to revision as I write.
First draft: 84 slides written, currently editing a drabble to fit as a scene. I have 9 major sections and a couple of minor ones still to do.
First edit: not started.
Shooting: not started.
Second edit: not started.
Final edit: not started.
Upload.
Publish.
Thoughts:
I'm actually quite pleased with my progress so far, especially today's writing. The fact that I still have some major, major scenes still to write, makes me a little worried that this first draft is going to be over 200 slides though. One thing I'm considering, is moving one section to the beginning of chapter 24.3, which is currently looking like a very light chapter. The problem with doing that. is that I quite like the realisation the characters have in it. It seems like a nice dramatic accent to me, but if the chapter is going to be too long, then maybe it would be better to move it to later and then build on it from there. I don't know, I guess I'll have to see how it all goes.
