As I said last night, their names were a complete co-incidence. Lauren's name was generated by the game and I picked Sophia because I liked it, and she couldn't stay as Noelle.
Haha, I don't think she's going to be at all pleased with Sophia marrying Bertie. Not only is there that faint whiff of scandal still, but also he's slightly lower than them on the social scale (marrying below herself, for shame! It was practically unheard of), and to top it all off, once Eddie hands over the deeds to him, he'll be a shopkeeper. ;)
