Hi I know you prefer feedback elsewhere, but I'm just going to say it here. I've been stalking this legacy for a while now but I'm de-lurking to show some love. Thank you. It really is a pleasure to read. Love!
I'll never say no to feedback. :D The reason I say I prefer it over at Boolprop, is because if it's all in one place, it's easier for me to know that I've responded to everyone. I have this fear that I'll miss someone out, and that they'll think that I didn't read their comment, or appreciate the fact that they're reading.
But yes, if you want to leave feedback here, or on my DW using OpenID, you're more than welcome to.
And thank you. :D I'm very glad that you're enjoying it.
Comment catch up! A bit late, and in an odd place, but...Boolprop is issue-full these days, so...bah.
I always love your pictures, and just...how much detail you put in them. The very first slide (not the cover), there's so many sims and they all look so natural, like a still photo taken from a movie of these people doing what they're doing.
Lauren is quite good at getting Sophia to do what she wants without seeming like she is, isn't she? She's good at that whole sneakiness thing. Sophia may think of herself as "the smart one" and prefer to act like she is, but I think Lauren is very observant, but doesn't mind others underestimating her. Also, she is interested in boys and fashion and such, but that doesn't make her stupid. I quite love her, and hope to see her continue in the story even as time goes on!
Of course you just view Bertie's muscles with artistic curiosity, Sophia. Of course. And Bertie, you're equally in denial. At least someone can see it and is trying to get you two together!
Oh, Bertie. You're going to have to deal with your fears at some point, though I suppose it will help once he's back to living at the main legacy house - there will never be a night without someone else in the house, whether Eddie and Carmen, his wife, or his children. But still, it would be a good thing to deal with the underlying issues, as I doubt he's admitting them to himself and they may cause more problems in the future.
Yay for Bertie and Sophia finally realizing that they love each other! Though I don't think that making out without a chaperone on your own in the dark of night is either the smartest or most appropriate thing to do...
Love the picture of Lauren flirting with all the football dudes while Bertie and Sophia both look annoyed.
Emmi is autistic, isn't she? Or at least she has Asperger's. She's a savant when it comes to music, but really not good at the whole emotions thing.
Oh, Sarah Jane. She's going to need some serious life lessons, I think, which kind of sucks - because if she'd been born male, she might be a lot happier in some ways. The subjects she enjoys are "male" subjects, and she has a career LTW, so...poor her.
*shakes head* Stuart, what Bertie wants is not reason enough for you to make a decision. It's great that you want to make your brother happy, but...it has to be about you. Also, am I right to suspect that the lack of Elle in this verse is part of why Stuart ended up choosing SPU in Marina's? And it's even worse that Bertie then basically glosses over it right after freaking out about it. I like Bertie, but he's not always very caring of his younger brother.
Love that Peter hired violinists to help with his proposal.
Glad to see that you finally figured out what to do with Vicky, though you're getting there slowly! Work faster! :P
Ballet dresses strike me as so immodest for the time period. I mean, you can see the outline of her shorts!
Poor Christopher. :/ It can't be easy for him, especially with Bethany doing so well. But have faith, Christopher! You will find the right one for you!
...Oh dear. First off, John is an idiot. By the third time Russ asked for more money and made an excuse, it should have been obvious that nothing was ever going to happen, especially as Russ is a thief, and, well, he's successfully getting John's money without all that much work. Second, oy. So much oy.
I'm also not sure John is thinking clearly, as he'd have to find some way to convince Eddie that he should be his heir. Or, you know, kill him. In addition, John may be Henry's official heir, but I think Eddie would choose Timothy first, or even give it to a cousin (such as Peter, Andrew, Christopher, David, Mickey, Zane...), if both of his sons were dead. So, really, it's not just Bertie and Stuart he has to go through - it's Eddie, Bertie, Stuart, Timothy, and even possibly Emmi, who may be female, but...her husband could inherit. And depending on how Alexandra and Vicky count, their children could make a claim that's better than John's in some ways - though being children of women may make them ineligible. So, yeah, don't think John's thinking totally clearly.
In conclusion, can't wait to see how all these storylines go!
And I forgot to ask (and ran out of space anyway): where do you get your lipsticks? I really liked how both Vicky and Sophia looked this update, and I think part of it was their lipsticks.
Very late, but I'm finally in the mood to start catching up, so here I am! :D Loved the update, as always! Your staging is great, and all of the facial expressions throughout were superb, especially for Lauren and Sophia. I am interested to see how this chapter will impact Stuart & Bertie's relationship, and how John's plan will go now that he's suffered this setback.
