After a lot of swearing, and deciding that I hate brass, (honestly, why so shiny?  It made things very, very difficult), I've finished the fireman's outfits.  Well, as finished as I care to be at the moment.  The helmet isn't perfect (both in terms of mesh and texture), but it's the best I can do at the moment, and, to tell the truth, I think it looks pretty damn good.  Certainly a lot, lot better then anything in game, and I've not seen anyone else attempt this, so ....

Anyway, here's the finished product:




I am more than a little pleased with them, and keep having "did I make that?" moments.  *crosses it off the to-do list*

OMG DI!!! That is so SO VERY AWESOME!!! The mesh looks great and the detail in the texture is amazing and they really do look like they are brass! Really well done!

Thank you! I am very, very pleased with how it came out. The mesh isn't perfect, but it's near enough for me. Oh the brass. it gave me real problems, and I was ready to throw in the towel at one point, but Cait talked me round, gave me a few ideas, and I managed to get it done.

Aww, thank you. To tell the truth, I tend to play about and see what happens. I'm glad that I end up making things that work and look good as I play.

I sometimes think that I have a problem, given how much effort I put into this neighbourhood, but I enjoy it. :D

Aww thank you. I'm very pleased with them. Hahaha, it's not easy no. But I'm a stubborn mare, and I enjoy meshing about and seeing what happens. Sometimes it all works out, sometimes not. With the uniforms, it worked brilliantly.
