Hi guys, I'm still not around in the comm apart from on AIM really, but wanted to quickly say that Boolprop has now closed, and New New Boolprop is up and running.  I've made a new thread for the legacy here and you can of course pm there like at Old Boolprop. 


To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll around there as much as I was the Old Boolprop.  To cut a long story short, I'm feeling very ambivalent
about the place at the moment, and the fact that lots of odd words seem to be highlighted and wanting to link me to places on my work pc, isn't helping.  So if you want to leave me a comment here in the update posts, or over on Dreamwidth using OpenID, that's perfectly fine and I'll understand.

Yeah, I totally get that. The double line links seem a bit weird to me, too. I'm still going to keep the thread active, but part of Project Move Everything does make it reasonable to comment on LJ (not to mention easier.)

I'm not getting the links on my home pc, which runs Firefox with Adblock, whereas my work pc runs IE. Even so, I feel guilty about subjecting people to it, especially with what's happened to Fuzzy and Lark with ads.

It does. I admit, I like the more in-depth comments you get at Boolprop, but I'm not so happy about the place at the moment.

Perfectly understandable! I don't see the linked words, I guess because my ad blocking plug-in prevents them. But I hate trying to read something when half the words are underlined or highlighted like that! Gah.

At least if comments are left here on LJ you know you'll still have them in a couple years. :P

Yeah I don't see the linked words at home, but they're there at work, and I don't feel good about directing people there, if they're also going to see them.

The double line links in the new site really irritate me, but I think one reason is because I normally use Google Chrome. Also, the place seems a bit dead as well, but part of the reason why is because not many people have migrated to the new site yet.

Very understandable indeed. The odd links are kind of irritating, but apparently they disappear when I log in. I'm also not entirely happy about those, but oh well. What had to be done, had to be done, and at least it's also possible to comment on LJ and so.
