So...

I have been meaning to post here for the past three nights with pictures of Simmouth because I've nearly finished everything I want done before Eddie goes on honeymoon, but it's just not happened yet.  Trouble is I've reached building burn out and just want to play.

That is exactly what I've done then, and had a lot of fun too.  I've finished up the uni rotation.  Elle and Sophia are ready to move back to Regalton, get married etc.  I decided to cheese Carmen since she was a serious pleasure sim, and although I re-rolled her to knowledge at the end of her second year, I just wasn't feeling it so thought I'd give her a go as grilled cheese instead.  So far she is very happy: rarely out of platinum, and has eaten 56 sandwiches.  She has now graduated and is sitting in the simbin ready for me to move her and her roommate Laura onto an empty lot.

Eddie has also graduated and it was an extremely glitchy, stalky, funny affair.

First thing was that Eddie lost his ponytail with the mortar board.  I had a good idea that this was going to happen, but it does emphasize to me that he is not my Eddie with short hair.

When the guests arrived, one got pretty stalky.  Yes I know I post a lot of pictures of SimNerd stalking Theo, but it amuses me that she does this all on free will.

"What?  I'm just seeing if my fiance is in here.  Nothing wrong with that."

Things were also funny downstairs.

Yup Eddie is flamey-thought-ballooning the cow mascot (he had a run in with him at Carmen's dorm) whilst Marielle is heartfarting her future father-in-law.

I think Beth might  not appreciate this, since this is the face she pulled when I had Eddie influence Marielle to talk to her:

"Erk no.  Why would I want to talk to you?"

Anyone else think that Vicky gets her good judge of character from her mother?

Moar glitches!  Theo kinda lost a hand.

'Hmm, this feels perculiar...'

Entertainment was partly provided by Alexandra:

Poor William couldn't get to the tip jar though.  (No prizes for guessing who are making out in the background.  It will be fun when I take off the ACR leash I can tell you).

More kissing:

'Hmm, I've not kissed Theo for about thirty seconds...'

"I've just seen Eddie and Marielle kissing: it looked like fun, my face has glitched like this and I want kisses now."

Theo was happy to oblige, even if they were rather close to Marielle.

So yeah a pretty funny party all round.  Tomorrow I am going to get Theo and Stanley home, and then I can play the main neighbourhood rotation and get Eddie, Theo, Elle and Sophia married off.  I've decided to keep Stanley single, and have Rosemary carry on Robert's branch of the family.  Not my original idea, but I can't see Stanley settling down at the moment.  I'm planning on moving him into a version of the observers' house from the BC.

I will also post pictures of Simmouth either tomorrow, or Saturday.

I'm also planning on starting to sort the next chapter next week.  I would ideally like to spend this weekend playing and getting generation 5 on its way.

The thought of Marielle in Simmouth with our lovely Eddie is giving me the strange urge for sim killing. You have to understand I don't get that urge very ofte, or even ever really, but this whole situation is just way too upsetting! She in no way deserves him and she's going to hurt him and corrupt him and I'm going to get upset!

*cough* That being said Love the picspam! *tries not to sound like crazy person* Stalky Doc and Theo make up for the unworthiness of Marielle. And I am so looking forward to seeing where you take this plot Di...

Lol, I'm sorry but that really makes me laugh because yesterday as I was wandering round Smiths I was thinking about dialogue for a future chapter. One of the lines I came up with was my simself saying "I'm sorry, but she makes my smiting finger itch!" meaning Marielle. I'll have SimDi and SimJamie start the itchy smiting finger club.

I do have a plan, and a timeline, so he is not going to be unhappy forever. I hope that you all like what I do with this plot. It's something that I am looking forward to exploring, but at the same time I want to run screaming from.

*flexes smiting finger*

I really am waaay excited about this plotline Di :D. The potential of it all makes me salivate and I literally can't wait to see where you go with it! I'm just really hoping there will be a cheer at my screen moment at the end of it.

I can't wait to see Simmouth in your story. It's always beautiful in your pic spam, but I bet it will be even better once it is filled with your sims.

I should say that I wish Eddie would be spending his honeymoon with someone different, but I kind of like where you're taking the story and I'm so interested to read more about it.

At least Beth has Marielle's number. That was funny.

I'm really pleased with it, and I will share pictures soon I promise. I've also been using the townie gun to change the clothing of the vacation sims and locals, so I'm hoping that they will all turn up looking like Victorians.

It's certainly a different direction for me, that's for sure.

The thing that keeps cracking me up about Beth's reaction is that I had always planned for Beth to be the one who wasn't keen on Marielle and for Marielle to show her true colours to Beth. This proves that was a good decision.

I can't wait for the Simmouth honeymoon, but I really wish it was with a different person. I do hope you have some sort of happiness in store for Eddie even with the unhappy marriage you have planned for him.

Honestly, I respect you a lot for going with that plotline and sticking to it. I've thought about doing it before, but never quite been able to bring myself to do it. I've fallen in love with the spouses as much as the legacy sims (well, except for Andrew) so making them seem like the bad guy is so hard.

I don't look forward to seeing Eddie hurt, but I am eagerly lookingforward to the story. :)

I have actually written a scene for a later chapter that makes me go all gooey inside. I can't keep Eddie miserable, I just love him too much.

One of the reasons I decided to do this is because I've loved all the spouses so far as much, if not more, than the heir; Allyn especially overshadowed her husband.

This is so different and very difficult for me in many ways. I've not dreaded playing a wedding more, and if I didn't have it all planned I think I would chicken out.

I don't know whether to be excited about Eddie graduation and taking over for the family or terrified because I can't stand Marielle. I think Beth has received a call from Charles by the look on her face. I don't like it either!!!!

Otherwise, I am excited that all the kids have finished university and will be moving on with their lives. Simmouth will be such a great place for a honeymoon. I know you have put a lot of work into making just right, so it's going to be great to see all finished.

That's pretty much how I feel too. I'm excited to get him home and get the next generation on its way, but I'm not looking forward to doing what I have to do to make this plot work.

Good ol' Beth. It's always been my intention that she finds out what Marielle is like first, and it looks to me as if she is going to be co-operative.

I'm really looking forward to playing Simmouth now. It should hopefully be a very playable town as well as looking good.

I can't wait to see what Simmouth looks like now. And I second or third or whatever number we're on now that while I'm looking forward to seeing Eddie honeymoon there, I wish it was with someone who isn't Marielle.

Stalky SimNerd and Theo FTW. I imagine that once you take the ACR leash off, you'll be seeing a whole lot more of those back tats...

I'm really pleased with it and I will share pictures soon.

They just make me smile so much. SimNerd walked straight in and up those stairs to find Theo, and then they were never more than a few feet apart for the rest of the night. They are obsessed and Theo is as bad as Nerd.

Oh yes, I will definitely be seeing more of those tats I think.

Huh. I've never been a huge fan of the long hair - it's always been very un-Victorian to me. But you're right, Eddie looks wrong without it.

And Theo without a hand = amusingness.

(And yes, I read your last double update, I'm just horribly behind on commenting.)

I cannot tell you the dilemma I had when I was choosing his hair. I tried every short hair I had, and none of them suited him. I put the ponytail on him out of desperation, but just knew it was right as soon as I saw it. The arguments I had with myself over whether to keep it or not... In the end I'm glad I did because it is perfect for him.

It's the look on Theo's face that just cracks me up with that.

No worries, I'm a bit behind with comments too at the moment.

Okay, here's a first for me. I was looking at these pictures, and reading about you having Eddie go to Simmouth for his honeymoon, and I actually thought that if you wanted to have him cheat on his wife, who so does NOT deserve him, and is only going to hurt him, he can cheat with my Simself.

Ahem. Yes, I did think that, so I had to say it. Not that I expect you to have him cheat, because I don't. (Also, at least in my game, my Simself and Eddie, sadly, have sucky chemistry. I think we have one bolt, with matching turn-ons. Sigh. She has no taste.)

Still, I love the glitchy graduation pictures. :) And I'm glad Vicky and her Mom both don't like Marielle. They're good judges of character.

I don't blame you for thinking that actually. I've often thought of the three boys Stanley's the one to have fun with, Theo's the one to lust after and Eddie's the one to fall in love with.

I don't think they've met in my game yet. One bolt isn't bad, you can still have a good relationship with that: look at George and Allyn.

Well I have to have a couple of sims who are good judges of character.

Boo Mariella, BOOOO! You go Beth. Oh, I've got to show you my William and Beth mug actually, I keep meaning to take a picture.. But anyway, booo!

Congrats on Simmouth, I still think it's such an amazing feat. I can't wait to see what it's going to look like when Eddie gets to visit.

And I couldn't have seen Stanley settling down with anyone either, I think he'll be quite happy with that. And I love all those pictures, they make me giggle!

More evidence as to why Beth is wonderful *nods head* I'd love to see your mug, get that picture taken!

I really am pleased with it. There are still 3 lots I'd like to build, but I've had enough of building at the moment lol.

Yeah I've planned something in the next chapter that I was going to use to make him reconsider his life, but Stanley not wanting a dozen more girlfriends is not Stanley. He will be much happier this way.

Glad you like the pictures, it was a very funny party to play.
