Still not dead

*waves* Hello. I know I've been pretty much absent lately, but I'm not dead. I haven't however, been doing any writing. I've not written a word since August, and although I hoped that Myshuno! would kickstart me, it hasn't. I just don't feel like writing at the moment, and if I do feel like maybe jotting some things down, by the time I grab a notepad, or open Word, the feeling's gone. So I have no idea when the next chapter will be out, which really, really was not my intention when I posted the last chapter. I had such high hopes as to getting back into the habit of posting regularly and getting to the next generation, and it has just not happened, and doesn't look like happening soon. I'm hesitant to put the legacy on hiatus, because if I do that, I can see me never getting back to it, the way I feel at the moment, so I'm not doing that. I'm just working on it at a very, very slow pace.
I've been playing a lot of other games recently. I finished the first part of the Burial at Sea DLC for Bioshock Infinite, and although it is still very, very flawed, I have to say the story was better for this one than the main game. Or at least, it took me by surprise, possibly because there was less times to drop hints at the player, so although I was sure there was something going on, I didn't know what until it happened.
I've also been working my way through the Assassin's Creed games, and now I want to build SimFlorence, which is a problem given the fact that I've got so many other subhoods to finish.
Oh yes. I am still simming, even if I'm not writing. I played a semester at one of the uni houses last week, and I've been working on some meshing projects for my V&G gift pile gift as well as the community project and my own use. I think I've made 7 new meshes in the past few weeks, and I now just need to work on the retextures, which are my least favourite parts of clothing creation. I've also been doing a bit of building, and the railway station in Simford is nearly finished now, I'm just pulling my hair out over crap EA mapping whilst trying to recolour a painting to make a sign. Really EA, it should be easy to recolour this, but no, you had to split the picture bit into 3 pieces which are completely disconnected, didn't you? I've been sharing a few pics of it over at my tumblr, because it's so easy to share pictures there.
Umm, that's it basically. I'm not dead, and I hope that you are all doing well.

Date: 2013-12-08 07:22 pm (UTC)*nods* I think that tumblr is very good for reblogging things others have posted, and sharing pictures, but LJ is better for text posts.
To be honest, I'd rather have fun with the game and cc making, which I have been the past few weeks, than getting stressed about writing, like I was over the summer, so yeah.
Butterscotch is fine! She's sitting on my desk looking at me whilst I type. I managed to get caught up on the new series this morning, and I have to say that I enjoyed every episode so far. :D :D :D
