Hey hey, I enjoyed looking for out-takes and sharing my thoughts last chapter so I thought I'd do it again.

First of all, I know that I have said this in most of my comments, but I really, really love playing and writing the three boys.  Not a day goes by when they don't do something to amuse me.  Writing them is so easy: I was worried about writing the last chapter since I wasn't entirely happy with the outline, but once I started, the words just flowed, in fact I could have kept writing once I'd finished it.

I was also setting up three story-lines in the chapter, including the BC, and although I have to say that they're not all going to be fun and games, i hope that everyone will enjoy reading them.

Right onto the pictures.  I had over 800 pictures for this part alone and part of me wishes that I could share them all.  Hey at least with LJ I can share some of them.

Lemme tell you all a bit more about Abigail.  Erm, well she has 1 nice point and has autonomously made enemies with Orlando Steele, Evie's husband.   She's a lot of fun actually, and is one of the more unpredictable sims to have around.  I see her as taking after her mother and having a real no nonsense attitude, which is why she was the one to try to talk some sense into Alexandra.

Ah Alexandra, unfortunately because of shrinking of the picture when she walked into the bar and saw Joe, you couldn't really see her face, so here's a close up:

I love her expression here, and all she did was walk into the room: I didn't use any hacks to get it.  I wasn't sure whether to use this one or the one I did at first, but I really like the focus on Joe in the one I used.

You know that scene in the coffee shop with Alexandra and Joe?  Well I had to do some clever photography because of this:

"Why have you just put your work down there?  Can you not see that we are having a private conversation that the voice is trying to film?"

"Wanna do work."
"Well it is nice to meet someone new I suppose."
Yup this dormie stood there the entire time.

I had real fun with the boys at the bar, and actually took a video of Theo freestyling because I though it was so funny.  That female dormie wasn't the only one impressed by Theo:

Ya can't blame him really:

I sometimes wonder if I have far too many pictures of Theo and Edward than is strictly healthy, but then I think "naaaah!"

I do write Theo not taking any notice of the opposite gender, but that's not entirely true :

"Beth clone is hot!"

New university, new halls of residence, same old stalker professor:

She will not leave them alone: now they are in the greek house she still turns up.

I just love Stanley doing 'mean face' whilst trying to get into the LS whilst Eddie finger guns, cracks me up.

This was nearly my gag slide, part of me thinks I should have put it in, but then again I love that picture of Theo I used.

"Alexandra do not look up."
"Why Theo?"
"Just don't.  Trust me."
"Hiii Stanley hiii.  I'm a naked streaker, wanna join me?"

Poor Stanley got struck by lightning at the end of their first year:

He had literally just got back from class.  That's Samuel, Abigail's elder brother watching.  He also has 1 nice point.

Here's an example of me being an idiot when taking a picture;

This was going to accompany the text about Vanessa being amused by the "arrest" but I forgot to put in a ceiling and that's a lovely bit of sky there isn't it?  I still can't believe I didn't notice it as I took the picture.

Charles's graduation was fun, especially when it turned into heart-fart central:

Theo: "Di is hot!"
Edward: "I know you are engaged to my uncle, but Angela call me."
As for Charles:

He is simultaneously heart-farting Di and Angela.  Way to go mate!

For some reason Charles didn't graduate at the end of the party so I had to get him to call for a cab.  I've never had that happen before.

Alexandra's date almost turned out very differently:

This is what she turned up in.  She's not playing hard to get at all is she?

Oh I thought you might like to see the band a bit better.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Mr Robert Legacy on guitar, with Mr Cassidy Vetinari on drums and their backing dancer Miss Cherryh Nebula.

Oh whilst we are at the Palisade, looks like Angela and Charles had a chaperone when he asked her to marry him:

Evie's graduation party didn't make the cut,  so here are a few pictures from it:

Glitchy head wear is always good.

The family that smustles together stays together.

Finger gunners FTW!

"Hey hey nephew, we've just walked outside."

"Right back at 'cha Aunt Charlotta."

"Well I think that deserves another finger gun Edward."

The girls have a cow hed too, which Alexandra rather likes.

Shooting at the pub was a bit of a pain.  This kept happening:

"Excuse me but that is my drink."
"Yeah, but you don't want it do ya?"

Anyone wondering where Theo gets his good looks, I think that this picture answers it;

They come from his father: you can see here they have the same profile.

I kinda want to waffle on about his genetics here so bear with me.  Theo is one of those sims I hold up as evidence that simmers should use different templates more often.  I find it saddening that for many face 1 and 2 are the be all and end all of prettiness in game.  Now I know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I do like my sims to have character.  There is no face 1 or 2 in Theo's make up.

Thomas is a sim I made in bodyshop, basing him on the Dorian Kauker template.  Whenever I make a sim I tend to alter the template a lot, to make a unique sim.  With Thomas I was going for a strong sim, with that military edge.  Why I then gave him only 2 active points when I put him in game I don't know.

Anyway, here's a close up of him:

You can definitely see that Theo has his eyes, nose, chin and mouth.

His grandmother Jayani is a Maxis template, I guess I wasn't feeling very creative when I made her.  She is one I very rarely see used.

This face is far more recognisable as a male;

Yep it's the template with the odd nose bridge.  I then used the make baby to create Frederick.  I think that both he and Theo have her cheekbones.

I wait ages for a slow dance twirl and then I get two in one game play session.  Angela and Charles were the second, this was the first:

Thank you Stanley.

The last scene was planned to take place in the centre of the hall, but when I went into camera man mode, I saw this:

"Dude you feeling alright?"

"Now you mention it I do have a slight headache."

Whoa lots of pictures again, but I hope you like seeing them.

I'm planning on uploading the boys after university, but since that won't be for a month or so if anyone desperately wants them before then, let me know and I'll put them up for you.

There are never enough pictures of Edward and Theo!

That streaker picture is hilarious.

The heart-farting graduation party is great. Too bad SimNerd wasn't there; she could have ruined every single shot with a heart-fart!

Cherryh and Cass look so cute in their Victorian finery! Do they actually have skill points, or is it an exercise in ear-bleeding?

Hope Theo's Incident with the chandelier doesn't affect his choice during the BC due to scrambled brains!

People do tend to use Face 1 and 2 a lot. And they are attractive. But it's also possible to get good-looking Sims without resorting to those faces. I look at Wren and Raven, and they're attractive without having those faces in the gene pool. Ditto some of the Sims in my custom 'hood. I like seeing what you get when you mix a variety of faces into a family, although I can understand why people are reluctant to breed in, say, the Carmen Patch face. But Prof did it, and so did RubyBlue. And you certainly didn't hesitate to use the Komei-face!

So true, those boys are just made to be photographed.

I can't decide what is funniest about the streaker picture, Alexandra just sitting there reading or the streaker thinking about Stanley.

SimNerd has actually been pretty good in my game: I've only seen her heart-fart a couple of times. I'm betting I will see that change in the BC.

They do have skill points thankfully, but I tend to play on mute unless I'm having a couple try for a baby, so I miss out on the ear-splitting cacophony of low skill point sims playing the instruments anyway.

Absolutely, I think that the majority of the face templates have the potential to create uniquely beautiful sims. I like mixing up the genetics to see what I get, and sometimes it works better than others.

Bah, my comment got eaten.. Twice! Er, right, what was I saying?

Love all those pictures, they make me smile :) Especially that one of Alexandra. She looks so beautiful! Her expression is sort of.. soft surprise (or something?).

Boys, boys, boys.. Those three are still so wonderful to read about and see, they must be a joy to py as well. I'll definitly be snapping them up when they're older.

And I could happily watch Theo freestylin' all day I think! Mmhmm. You know I know diddly squat about face templates and can never recognise them, no idea what I've married in, but I do agree that people should take more 'chances'. Sims like Theo, Raven & co really prove that. I think all my Sims are beautiful, but then I'm slightly biased :) I'm a bit lost and restless tonight, maybe I'll try and find out what templates I actually married in, because I genuinely have no idea and it's been bugging me for a while.

Hanging lights bother me so much in cameraman mode, they're always in the way! Though not quite as much as that, poor Theo. But that got the biggest laugh I think :D

Bah I hate it when comments get eaten.

Yeah that's why I love that picture of her and it seems so perfect. I don't think that she really expected to find Joe there, so when she did she was so surprised.

I love em to bits, I really do. I just want to play them forever.
I have put him free-styling on my photobucket account, but it's very pixelated unfortunately, otherwise I'd link to it.

I love your sims too, again they are beautiful, unique and full of character. I can tell you that Margaret has the Don the zombie face (same as the dormie a tthe coffee shop above) since that's the same face as Elise, hence the Repens/George nose.

I never really noticed how low most of the lights are until I started using cameraman mode, now it bugs the hell out of me. I know that one is a custom light, by Maxis ones are just as bad, and I mean come on, surely these people must have seen ceiling lights before and know that there is more then five and a half feet clearance for people to walk under them.

Oh wow! See? I never knew Margaret was Don the Zombie. Thanks Di! That nose on guys is the only thing I can ever recognise, I didn't even peg Meni had it until she hit elder. But I got really excited the other day when I realised Ara's son had it, I never usually work stuff out that early! It's a nice nose, isn't it?

I'm always in awe you guys are so good at things like that :)

I've only got good at it recently, especially since starting to use cameraman mode so I'm seeing my sims close up.

Oh and the contessa has the Komei-face, that's why I think that Sid looks like her. I've had quite a few kiddies running around with that mouth.

I love it when you do outtakes. I'm not a big Stanley fan, but that picture of him doing the slow dance twirl made me aww. I almost forgot that he's a complete cad.

Those pictures in the bar reminded me of something I meant to ask when I commented in your boolprop thread: did you photo-edit those ceilings in or are they actual wooden ceilings? I ask because I haven't seen any that look like that and it made me curious.

I had a little lol moment at Theo in the chandelier. At least it didn't hurt his lovely, lovely face.

I'm like Gin--awful at picking out genetics and facial templates. I guess I could find Allyn's because it's fairly distinctive, but I have no idea what face Aiyana was, besides being pretty sure it wasn't face 1 because her cheeks were a little chubby. I can't even recognize face 1 on townies and I'll probably end up marrying it in completely by accident. I'm going to consider going into CAS and studying up a little bit.

Yeah Stanley is a cad and a bounder, but he does have redeeming features.

I use recolours of JG White's ceiling tiles by Dektora at MTS2. I love them, they give a real Victorian feel to the rooms.

Argh I never thought about it glitching through his handsome face before. That would not have been good.

It's been a while since I played Strangetown, but if I remember correctly Aiyanna also has the Don the zombie/Margaret/Elise face. It's a nice face. :D

Really? I must go play in CAS now. Well, not now exactly, but tonight.

Those ceilings tiles do give a very Victorian feel--that's why I first noticed them.
