Hello! Time for more picspam.
This time, it's of Simmingfordbury (currently situated in Bluewater but I want to change that at some point) and the first part of the Simdon spam. (Sorry Marina, you have to wait for part two of that for the pictures I know you want to see). So on with the spam!
Grundstrom House.
Let's start with looking at Joe's house.
Marie had a birthday that first day, and I decided to get Joe to do the honours.

She still looks a lot like Christopher. I mean, I can see differences there, but there's no doubt that she's his sister.
Joe has actually turned out to be a surprisingly good dad. He's often to be found with Marie, reading to her or tucking her in of a night. It surprised me.

That first night was also when Rachel gave birth to her second daughter.

Gah, keep her away from the baby! (Interesting side note, Maria interacts more with the baby who she isn't related to, than the child she is).

I do like this baby mat, even with the modern lookign UFO. I can't wait to try out the basket which Miss Bubbles cloned from it. I want to talk briefly about her colouring here. I picked Nancy's father specifically for his genetics (a picture of him is on its way). I wanted the baby to have brown hair like Joe, Rachel's skintone and eyes that no one else in the family could have. In the end I picked dark blue over brown because I thought that brown was too different to the rest of the family. (Maria has grey, Joe green, and Rachel a different shade of green. Light blue might have worked, but there was the chance the baby would get Rachel's eyes instead.)
See, he is a pretty good dad when I make him.

Because i wanted to extract her for the chapter, I made sure to grow Nancy up as soon as I could.

This is her father:

He's one of the AL townies, and his genetics fitted what I wanted, perfectly. There was one problem: he has one of the broken face templates, and because he's one of the Maxis townies, the fix I have in, doesn't work. That meant that Nancy ended up looking rather face one:

I ended up extracting her, cloning her in bodyshop growing her up and making her look like she should at all ages. I then sim surgeried her using SimPe.
This is what she looks like now, and also how she appeared in the chapter:

Much better.
I'll end this trip to Joe's house with what happens when Marie brings Emmi home from school and then decides to go and practise the piano:

Autonomous sharing hobby tips FTW.
Simdon.
Evelyn's House.
The first house I always play in Simdon is Evie's house. And that makes it sound like she's been in the same house all this time, but she hasn't. I think that this is the fourth house that she's lived in since leaving the Acadamie. They've all been similar, but I've had to move her because of changing neighbourhoods or not liking the house etc. However, this is hopefully her last move.
and doesn't it look nice:

There was only the three of them living there when I started this rotation, Evie, Orlando and Stephanie. I am never allowed to forget that Evie is a pleasure sim:

Also, you'd think by now that Stephanie would be used to her pleasure sim mother and romance father, but no:

These two are so, so sweet too:

Stephanie's very sociable and brought someone home each day I played.

This is what happens when you delete hairstyles before changing any sims who have them:

Just how many hats do you need to wear at once Gavin?
The last day she brought home Sarah Jane, who headed to the piano and ignored everyone.

That night she also headed off to the Acadamie. Now, due to the fact that I managed to muck up all my ages, you'll be seeing more of Stephanie before the rotation is over.

Alexandra and Anthony's Townhouse.
A&A are also in a new house, although it looks rather a lot like there old one. There are a few changes to try to stop the crashing I was getting, bu tthe layout is very very similar. This pleased the two teens in the family.

<3333 them.
Their parents also seem to like the house, although they did run into a small problem with the stairs:

Yeah,Alexandra is going to let being eaten by the stairs get in her way.
I seriously love the lighting mod for the sawn light it throws inside:

For the first time in ages, I invited the headmaster over to a lot (well, it fits with the Smiths, since the boys would be going to private school, and not the local board school, due the fact that they are lower upper class). However, this is the only picture I took of it:

They all got in.
Let's gloss over my failure as a photographer with some Zane spam. He's really fitted into the family well, but there are times when he likes to play, just him and his toy horse he callsBinky Palus.

Such a stalky couple (also, I'm so pleased with how the retexture of Alexandra's hair came out. First time I Pooklet'd a hair.)

He looks so happy!

Seeing all four of the Smith children sitting in the study doing their homework is a regular occurrence. Note how Sarah Jane has bagsied the desk. is anyone really surprised?

There's only two days separating Zane and Mickey, and the two of them are really very close. It's lovely to find them playing together of their own initiative.

As you can also see, Zane's room is now blue. :D
The Roseland House.
Poor Lousia didn't have a very good time of it this rotation. She managed to burn everything she cooked.

And if that wasn't enough, she was yet another victim of Project Hair and ended up walking around bald for a bit before I fixed her.

Onto her sons. This is Harry:

And this is Gregory:

Any of you who read Lark's Vaulting Ambition, will have met Gregory already. He's a dear (so's his brother, but Harry is meaner. Much meaner) and I'm hoping to be able to bring him into the story a bit. After all, he's good friends with Emmi.
They're a lovely little family.

Told you Greg was good friends with Emmi. She came home from school with him a couple of days.

Marie alsod came home with the boys. I still have no idea how this happened, but she managed to get herself wedged between the wall and a table.

Vicky's House.
I actually didn't take a whole lot of pictures at Vicky's. the truth is, it's a confusing house to play, because of how Vicky and Patrick act towards each other, and I think that how they act is also what's giving me problems with how to resolve her situation. Anyway, the only concrete thing I took away from it, was how I really need to have Vicky and Alexandra in the same room more often.

Skinner Terrace.
This is the home of Ernest, who is Elizabeth's grandson. The rotation here started in rather a dramatic fashion when Ernest managed to set the stove on fire:

(Excuse the blue OMSPs, I hadn't made them invisible after placing them because I was being lazy).
Luckily, his wife Amber kept a cool head and extinguished the fire. This was doubly lucky, because I'd forgotten to put a phone in after building the place.

She was just as cool after the event too.

"Phew, that was close eh?"
"Yeah. don't do it again. Now don't we have a birthday to attend to?"
Indeed they did. Their son Jasper became a toddler.

And what a cute little toddler too. Amber has one of the broken templates, so Jasper will probably change as he grows up. Since he's not important to the story, I'm not as bothered by it as I was with Nancy, so I've not extracted him and changed him yet. I might do later, I'm not sure. Anyway, have some Cute Jasper spam!

Ernest is such a good dad. He's just not very good with fires.
Ok, and I think that is about halfway through the folder for Simdon, so I'm going to end part one of the Simdon picspam here. Part two will be up before the end of the weekend (long weekend, yippee) unless something unforeseen happens.
