Rotational picspam - Regalton part 1

Welcome the first of the new look picspams. Since I'm moving into producing completely staged and plotted chapters, I thought it's be nice to post some picspam of what actually happens when I play. Thanks to the results of the poll I published a little while ago, I'm going to be sharing as much as I can from the other houses too, and each house is named after the family who first moved in. I'm also trying to keep this more organised too, but I might not talk as much as I have in the past. With that said, let's begin.

This is a pretty sedate house to play, and is a nice start to the rotation.

Emmy's faces crack me up.

Oscar is pretty awesome and he came home with his first A+

He also came home with a friend,

Harold's enemy decided to steal the paper.

He also decided to pop inside while doing so. i don't even know any more.

Placing benches at a diagonal can lead to some interesting poses.

:D

So I don't quite know why this started to happen to one of the dogs towards the end of the rotation, but poor Poppy keeps spraying water everywhere. Yeah, it's beyond odd.

Not long after Grimalkin dug this hole, his grave disappeared, and now I can't get rid of this ghostly pile of dirt in the garden. It's starting to annoy me a lot.

I think Veronica is getting a little confused as she's sharing hobby tips with her son.

Le sigh. I see me getting very fed up with this sim.

Lastly, I don't think the top of the stairs is the safest place to do that Oscar.

We'll start with Doc waving hello to you all.

Ok, she's not really waving hello to you, she's waving goodbye to Celestia. The very first thing I did, was send her off to the Acadamie. it's something I should have done at the end of the last rotation, but hadn't figured out if I was going to film everything in the dummy hood, so left it until this one, in case I needed her as a teen.

At least Doc got to wave to her. Theo wasn't so lucky.

"I can't wave goodbye to my daughter because my daughter is in the way."

And he still didn't make it. He complained about the door being in the way, and then it was too late. Celly was in the cab and away.

So, Doc and Theo are now alone in the house for the first time ever. Just what do you think they decided to do?

"Hang loose?"
"Y'know Theo, I think we can come up with something more fun than that."

"Of course." *bows*
"More fun than that even."

There we go. What followed was three days of almost non-stop stalking

I did prise them apart for a bit to do a little bit of skilling. Of course, they still ended up within a few feet of each other. :D

Aaand Theo has now maxed all his skills.

Awwwwww.

This cracked me up.

Oh Doc, I love your simself.
Today's paper thief was Stanley, probably trying to guilt me into playing him.

More stalking. XD

I wish I enjoyed playing this house more than I do. I loved playing it when Charlotta and Hannah were alive, but I'm afraid Joshua's broken face has annoyed me, I hate that Helen looks nothing like how she will. D:
But never mind, the cats like her.

I love how Elle will autonomously tell Helen about how her parents acquired the souvenirs in the house though.

I think that this might have been one of the first families I played after I got FT, since they seem to have every hobby magazine going. Unfortunately they had so many delivered, they cluttered up the porch so much, it stopped both Helen and Joshua getting to work and school. I've now cancelled all but one.

This makes me wish I'd taken more pictures of Beth tending the trees. I love Elle's face here.

Dean continued with his mission to come home with every single teenager in the neighbourhood. He started getting on well with Elle, since Helen kinda decided that she would rather ignore him.

When Helen did finally walk into the kitchen, she decided to play with one of the cats while Dean looked on. It did make me realise that I prefer the cats to the dogs in game, and wonder why I decided to go with dogs in the main house.

Eventually Helen did realise that Dean was there, with erm interesting results.

Elle did try to console him though.

The next day it was time for Helen to do some last minute studying before she too was shipped off to uni. Unlike Celestia, you won't be seeing her again this picspam.

I love, love, love this house. Well. it's Anne's so how can I not? Plus, there's Florence who cracks me up, and her adorable son Lawrence whom I just want to snuggle.

Honestly, look at Florence's face here. She just makes me grin.

I might have done a bit more deleting of my Nouk hair files and Anne's bedhair might have been a victim.

(Yes I will be going into hiding now, so that Anne can't find me).
Also I may have forgotten to change Mathia's hair before I deleted his hair too.

He did fare better than his wife (honestly, if I didn't have such a strong idea of his image and the fact that I want him to have a hair style that hints at him having lived through the 18th century, I'd keep him in this, because *droooooool*).
Hair all sorted, they headed outside for a dance. No, I don't know why they couldn't dance inside either, but in many ways, I don't care, because I love them so much.

Anne dotes on her grandson, which is great because he seems to have a really odd sleep pattern, so it's wonderful to have someone at night who takes care of him without me having to get involved,.

Of course, when she's not looking after Lawrence, she's stalking her husband.

Florence <3333

Corbin is fast becoming one of my favourite married in sims. Florence was just pregnant with their second child here, and he followed her into the bedroom when she went to bed and relaxed next to her. He's really sweet.

Vampire pillow fighting. :D

Awwww.

Paper thief this time was Alexandra, probably wanting to remind that her eldest will graduate soon and she wants grandbabies.

Florence became my first sim to test drive a couple ofthe preg morphs I made I'm very pleased with them.

Florence wanted to teach Lawrence to talk, Corbin wanted to teach him the nursery rhyme, Mathia wanted to potty train him and Anne rolled the want to teach him to walk. I love how the entire family is helping raise him.

Last picture from here. Awwwwww.

Not many pictures from this lot, since I did play an extra day here last rotation and so played only two days this time, but there's a few.
First, yes John is a really, really mean sim. I'm sure that's not the way you should play with your mother John.

Abbey meanwhile is looking after their son, Henry.

Dita really does pull some funny faces.

John is surprising me. he actually spends a lot of time with Henry, playing with him etc. I starting to think that maybe I should be worried about what he is saying to him.

Henry was pretty quiet when he decided to haunt that night.

This is Martha, but I'm nearly positive that I'm going to change her name. Not sure what to yet.

Abbey wants to max seven skills, so she got to tune the piano when it needed it. She did pretty well actually.

I'll end with some Henry spam, because he's a real cutie.

That's all the picspam for today. I have another four houses all sorted out and am playing a fifth, so expect more soon. :D

Date: 2011-07-09 12:14 am (UTC)And I'm glad my SimSelf is reasonably well-behaved for you! I never get sick of watching her stalk Nummy Theo in your game. Or watching Nummy Theo wander around without a shirt on.

Date: 2011-07-11 08:45 pm (UTC)She is well behaved, especially when there is a half naked Nummy Theo to follow around. :D

Date: 2011-07-09 01:33 am (UTC)Pillow-fighting vampires are awesome. That is all.
I'd be worried too, about what John is teaching Henry the second. He's trouble.
I think I may love Florence as much as you do, after those pics. She's gorgeous, and a great mama it looks like.
Yay picspam!

Date: 2011-07-11 08:58 pm (UTC)I love my vampires. *snuggles them even though Anne wouldn't like it*
Florence is just awesome and I'd love to be able to use her in the story, but I don't have a role for her, so she's consigned to the picspam. Which is a shame

Date: 2011-07-09 02:10 am (UTC)Henry's house. Well now it's John's but there is a Henry living there. Henry is cute, but yes I'd worry about what John tells him all day.
One of my favorite book characters of all time was named Martha. I loved Martha in the Secret Garden when I was a kid. But the name is somewhat plain.
Oh and Henry's ghost looked really creepy. *shudder*

Date: 2011-07-11 09:08 pm (UTC)Anne's family are a lot of fun and I loves them. :D Florence has such a great mix of her parents, and I think she's one of the prettiest sims I've had born in game.
I agree, John is worrying with what he could be saying to his son. Oh well, it'll all come out in the wash I guess.
Oh I'm definitely going to use the name Martha, but there is another branch of the family it would go better in, than Henry's.

Date: 2011-07-11 09:13 pm (UTC)You're welcome to any hairs you want. And actually that reminds me I was going to upload one for you last night, but forgot. Poke me next time we're on AIM at the same time.

Date: 2011-07-10 08:26 am (UTC)Yeah, diagonals definitely lead to interesting poses.
You could fix Helen's face. Didn't you do that with, um, Nancy? Is that Joe's "daughter's" name? And it looks like Helen got some features from Elle, at least, so she won't totally change.
...Ouch on Anne's scalp.
Awww, toddler! Though possibly evil toddler? Much oy.
And can't wait for more!

Date: 2011-07-11 09:19 pm (UTC)They really do. They look pretty, but lead to lots of fun impaling!
Josh's face is broken at all ages, and isn't a standard template, so it'd take a lot of faffing in bodyshop to try to make a sim that looked like Helen should at all ages. I don't feel like spending that much time on a sim who isn't going to make an appearance in the story.
Anne was not amused at being bald.
At the moment Henry is adorable. Only time will tell how he's going to turn out.

Date: 2011-07-10 01:04 pm (UTC)You've got a LOT of sims, Di. ;D
I think I spend as much time looking at the background in these pics, as I do at the actual sims. LOTS O' HEDGES. Does the gardener spend two days straight keeping those trim? :D And it's odd seeing English sims throwing an American football. But the Victorian illusion is so complete I forget this is the same game I play most of the time.
lol Yes, what is John imprinting on Henry's malleable young brain?
Fun stuff! Thanks for posting these! <3

Date: 2011-07-11 09:26 pm (UTC)I do. And this is only the first five houses of a 32 household rotation. :D
Thank you. Comments like that make the time I spend on the whole lot worth while. Yes, lots and lots of hedges. I might have put in perfect plants because of them, since yes, all the gardeners did was trim them, and then leave with only half done. XD
You're welcome. I'm glad you liked them. :D
