Di's Victorian Vexes

So, as those of you who have been following may have seen, I completed Go Fish on tuesday!.  (I actually managed to get something finished, go me!)

For a challenge I wasn't sure about entering because I didn't know if I'd get itdone, i really enjoyed it.  It was a lot of fun to write with no expectations on my shoulders and I'm hoping that I'm going to get back to my story feeling a little refreshed.

I would like to continue this, in fact, I'd like to go back and work what I've already written into something more coherent and cohesive.  Would you be interested in reading if I did that?  (No idea on a time frame for that, but I'd like to pick this up as and when I feel like it).

I'm also going to open this post to questions. I'll probable answer under the spoiler tag and if I do, there will be spoilers, so read the answers at your own risk. 

But anyway, thank you everyone at sim_spiration for organising this.  I had fun.

Title: Go Fish 2012: Part Five
Prompt: High Fantasy

Summary: In which Boris and Cedric go back to the village.
Notes:  Again, I'm not too sure about this part.  I feel I need to edit it more and get it more straight in my head, but I also want to see if I can finish this this weekend (or at least get a rough draft of the final part done), so I'm going to post it as it is.  I might go back and revisit these pieces once the challenge is over anyway, and make a more complete story out of them.

Notes:  This is a longer part that I was planning on posting for this challenge, but at the same time, this part can't be split easily, so I'd rather post it in its entirety.  Also, is it bad that I'm having this much fun writing Cahlleehn?

Title: Go Fish 2012: Part One,

Summary: In which we are introduced to our hero and his wife.
Notes:  The first proper part of my Go Fish challenge piece.  I feel it could do with a but more editing, and as if my ideas are there, but I'm not translating them to the page as well as I would like.  Oh well!  This is for fun and to get me writing more, so I'm not as concerned as I would be if I felt like this while working on a chapter.

I get the impression that I am once again trying to do too many things at once. I have a pile of mostly complete cc projects, a chapter in the works, a new writing challenge and goodness knows what else, so I thought I’d make a note of the ones I’m actively working on here.

Hi guys, just a quick psa. sim_spiration is holding a summer writing/filming event called Go Fish. Check out the details here.

It looks like it might be quite interesting to do, and I’m seriously considering signing up. The thing that’s stopping me, is the fact I want to get on with the next few chapters.

Speaking of the next chapter, quick progress update. First draft is written, but it’s hand written, so I’m currently typing it all up into Powerpoint. I had a stressful day at work yesterday and didn’t feel like doing much on it last night, but it is going.

I’m also sorting some pictures for picspam, and I’ve made myself promise that I can’t play any more until I’ve got that posted
