So...I had plans for what I was going to do with the sims today.  Big plans. I was actually going to play, something I've not done for weeks and weeks.

But...I decided to make my own multi PT instead.  I mean, I'm not going to start having everyone star gaze, so why do it?  Because although I love Celestia to bits, and I'm glad I had a replacement PT in my game when she was spawned, and a very alien looking sim is not going to look at home in my legacy, Celly looks too human to me.  If it wasn't for her elf ears and green skin, you wouldn't know she was half alien.  Believe me I've switched her skin tone in bodyshop so I know, that's why.

So these are the PTs I made:

This one might look a bit familiar: she started off as Celestia, because I wanted Theo's chin.  I then gave her Beth's eyes, and nose (although I thinned her nose down a bit) and tweaked a few of her other features.  I think she's the most human looking.

Of course once I'd done this, I had to go and spawn some babies.

This is Val, our test subject.  He has the Remmington Harris, blonde hair and green eyes.

"What the...?"  Yeah, get used to it Val.  :)

The first of his many pregnancies results in this little chap, Alpha:

His other daddy is P.T. 4, and he is a cutie.  With Val's nose.

Still cute as a child too.

"ARGHHHH."  Onto the next one then.

P.T. 3 it is this time.

Also adorable, and look:

I love that profile, even if he also has Val's nose, and I was hoping for the PT's.

Cuteness continues into childhood, and I'm sure beyond too.

"Another?"  Another.

Baby number three is courtesy of PT1.

Like his brother's before him, Gamma has Val's nose, and is adorable.

Anyone else getting a Spock vibe off of him, or is it just me?

Now was where I hit a snag.  I only needed spawn from PT 2, and do you think I got it?

Delta, the first girl, was courtesy of 4 again.  (But she is cute).

Epsilon was 3's.  (also cute, I love the eyes on this PT, even though they even out as the kid gets older).

As was Zeta.  (OMG sooo cute!)

See.

And look, she was the only one not to get Val's nose.

After exiting and trying again quite a few times, I got worried that the hack wasn't working properly and so plonked AJ Loner down in a house, and got him alien pregnant.

First time I got Eta:

She inhertied AJ's black hair, but she has got the red recessive from the PT.

Such a sweetie, and she also has PT 2's nose.

I was rather pleased with the results of the spawning.  I think that the faces blended well with Val and AJ's, making the spawnlets alienesque, but not lumpy.  I doubt I'll be having Regalton over-run, but it's nice to know I might get a bit of variety if there are other alien babies.

I have to thank  [info]widget_sims , [livejournal.com profile] gintasticnecat , and [livejournal.com profile] profbutters for putting the idea in my head.  Also [livejournal.com profile] simgaroop for the awesome tutorial here.

I'm now going to go and do a bit of that playing I meant to do. :P

Hope you have all had a good weekend.

They look good! Gamma does have a bit of a Spock vibe, but I think that's the combination of the brows and the black hair.

And if only my Remington Harris-face had had a nose that dominant... Oh, Stabby Death Nose, I don't miss you.

Yeah I'm pleased with how they turned out. It's definitely the hair, the brow and the ears that give Gamma a touch of Spock I think.

Val's nose was certainly SDN dominant here. But at least the wonderful Tom and Topher broke that dominance for you, and the prettacy house is free from it now.

Oh wow Di, that's so cool! They look fab. I love the features you've chosen for each PT and I think they work well together as a set, yay. Be interesting to see how they mix with the population of Regalton!

Hehe, Gamma certainly has a spock vibe going, I get you there.. And ohmigod, Zeta is just the sweestest little thing! Aww.

Thanks. I'm really pleasecd with them. They're different enough so tha tthe kids won't look completely human, but also mesh well with other templates.

Gamma, my little Spock look alike makes me smile, and I about died of cute when I saw Zeta drinking her bottle.

Yay! I love Multi PT testing and love seeing the results. You'll enjoy having several possibilities in-game, too. It's like a box of Cracker Jacks-"in every box a surprise!"

Is it my imagination, or do you have two different skin tones--one more blue and one more green?

I love the Remington Harris face. I don't actually think of it as ZOMG so handsome, just interesting without being too outrageously cartoonish.

Nice work, Di!

Well as I say, you were one of the ones who inspired me to do this, so thank you. It really was exciting waiting to see which PT would be the other parent.

Nope, it's just one skin: green with a silvery irridesence to it. It's the silver in it that makes it reflect light differently, and makes it look different colours.

I see the Remmington Harris face as being quite average, without being as smooth and baby faced as 1 and 2, so I thought it would be a good one to see how it meshed with the PTs. I was very pleased with the results.

It really is very simple, and Simgaroop's tutorial is amazing and illustrated, so very easy to follow.
