Phew, finally I've finished it. All my chapters are now converted and up on my
Dreamwidth. (So the flist spam is over now). It's taken me slightly longer than I thought it would, because late Tuesday I decided that I really couldn't live with the graininess I was seeing since changing slide sizes, and decided to (finally) take
orikes13 's advice and upload pdfs not ppts.
It took a bit of faffing to find the paper size that worked the best, but I am so, so glad I tried it, and thank you, thank you, thank you Ori for the tip. My pictures are as near as dammit the same quality as the original jpegs, plus the text is clearer and doesn't move when it''s converted to flash! This means that the ink splodge in part 1 of the asylum is actually in the right place now, even if I can't get the tearstains in part 2 to show in the pdf for some reason. They're on the ppt, appear on the print preview, but don't convert to the pdf.
Anyway, now that mind numbing task is over, I can start to think about catching up on comments for the past week, and sorting part 3 of the asylum. It's a bank holiday tomorrow, so I'm going to have some time to start that then. I'm starting to get really psyched about getting back into the swing of the community and writing again.
Oh and I give advanced warning: I might be posting some WCIFs and "can anyone make recolours for me pretty please?"s in relation to Vicky's adventure and the next legacy chapter. There's a few things I would like to use in there that I'm not sure exist, or exist in the form I want.
So yes, this is me saying that hopefully I will be around a bit more now, woo!
